The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Conference is the biggest undergraduate research event hosted at The University of Alabama. Faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to attend the conference, observe the students’ work and talk to them about their research.
Momentum Women’s Dissertation and Thesis Support Group is a weekly informational and supportive group to answer questions and provide feedback during this challenging process. Professor Bynum recently published Reading Pleasures (2023) with the University of Illinois Press. Tanner's archive includes letters from her correspondence with Phillis Wheatley. The Safe Zone Resource Center will host a panel discussion featuring the experiences of LGBTQIA+ deaf individuals. For this event, the Safe Zone will partner with the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind to share some experiences of LGBTQIA+ deaf individuals. This event will take place on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 12:00- 1:00 pm in the Student Center Rm. 2408. A catered lunch will be provided to participants.
